So you've made a wise decision and decided to be a passenger with "Dark Cycle Escorts" on a genuine Harley Davidson Motorcycle for the day. For the interest of the passenger, there are one or two guidelines we have provided:
  • Please wear jeans and sturdy footwear, preferably boots, for the ride.
  • Please wear sunglasses for riding during the day and your prescription glasses at night (if you require them).
  • If you own some leather gloves, please bring them, however leather gloves can be provided for you.
  • A motorcycle leather jacket can be provided to you if you do not have your own. In cool weather, please also wear appropriate closing, such as a shirt and a sloppy joe.
  • Your rider will inform you about the correct manner in which to mount and dismount the motorcycle. (Harley Davidson's have a large exhausts which can be very hot, therefore we request that you take particular note of the instructions provided.)
  • Whilst riding, there is no need to lean into the corners excessively, simply lean in accordance with the rider in a fluid manner.
  • Please do not turn around repeptitively, wave your arms or engage in any horseplay during the ride as this behaviour can cause distraction to the rider.
  • Please do not attempt to speak to the rider whilst moving, unless you are provided with an intercom system.

As you can see, these guidelines are close enough to 'common sense', so really, riding on a Harley is a breeze. Have fun!
